The Open Access book series "Progress in Landslide Research and Technology" by the International Consortium on Landslides (ICL) serves as a global platform for sharing advancements in landslide research and practical applications, contributing to the Kyoto Landslide Commitment 2020 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. It features diverse contributions, including research articles, case studies, activity reports, and educational tools, aimed at enhancing understanding and reducing landslide disaster risks.
As of December 2024, the Open Access book series has published six issues, featuring about 160 articles. These articles include approximately 590 distinct keywords. To provide an overview and assist in article searches, these keywords have been categorized into 14 groups, and a tree map has been created. The tree map allows users to view the keywords organized by category and access individual articles where specific keywords are used by navigating through the map. This tool enhances the usability of the series, enabling efficient exploration and a better understanding of the scope of the research.
The keywords are categorized into the following 14 groups: Natural Hazard and Climate Change, Mechanisms and Analysis, Case Studies and Regional Research, Technology and Tools, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Modeling and Simulation, Geomorphology and Geology, International Initiatives and Policy, Monitoring and Remote Sensing, Hydrology and Water Management, Prediction and Early Warning Systems, Infrastructure and Design, Outreach and Education, and Social Collaboration.
Clicking on a category allows you to view the keywords it contains. Keywords are organized into groups based on similarity, and selecting a group will display the detailed keywords within it. Clicking on a keyword will show the papers associated with that keyword. The paper titles are linked, enabling direct access to the papers. Additionally, you can use the slider at the bottom to view treemaps for specific issues. By default, the display includes results from all issues.
